100 Things I Love

I’ve wanted to write this list and post it for almost a year now. I’m beaming even as I type it up, thinking back to my beginnings in Kindergarten as an author and remembering how far I’ve come on this literary journey.
I began writing this list like I’ve begun most things: throwing myself in headfirst, without realizing how hard it would be, and conquering the challenge. It took me a while to think of 100 things that I love, but a sort of peace comforted me as I did.
Part of me is tempted to explain why everything that is on my list belongs there, why eyes fascinate me so much, or why I love unloading the dishwasher, but I won’t. Because at a certain point I’ve realized that when you love something, the only reason you love it is “Just because.” With that in mind, here are 100 things that I love, a list in no particular order, that is by no means exhaustive:
